What are the requirements to be allowed to participate in the Auctions?

The bidding company must meet the following standards:

  • the bidding company has to be registered at TSO Auction BV;
  • the bidder may not have been declared bankrupt or insolvent or have been granted suspension of payment nor may a petition for bankruptcy, insolvency or suspension of payment have been filed against the bidder;
  • for the day auction it is necessary to be a Program Responsible Party (Netherlands) or an Access Responsible Party (Belgium) or to have a Bilanzkreis (Germany) depending at which auction the bidding company wants to participate. For month and year it is not obliged;
  • a CPS connection should be requested and completed. For month and year it is not obliged, only recommanded;
  • notification forms should be filled in. For the Day auction before bidding, for month and year auction the transporting parties should be appointed no later than 4 days before the transport;
  • for the Day Ahead Auction it is necessary to open a business account and transfer an amount to this account.

How to register?

The bidder should submit the following documents: 
  • name, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address and contact person(s); 
  • a list of authorised representatives who are entitled to bid as well as documents proving their authorisation; 
  • a statement by an authorised functionary to the effect that the bidding company has received, read and accepted these regulations; 
  • an opinion confirming  that the bidding company is allowed to participate in an auction;
  • the Application form and questionnaire for telecom connection;
  • the EAN code which will be used as bidder.

How much time will it take to be registered?

It depends the current status of the party. All forms should be send in, which should be verified by TSO Auction. For the opinion it can be necessary to inform ask legal department to asses it. The CPS connection should be made and tested. Please contact TenneT if you would like to know more about this procedure. Further a connection should be made with the TSO inbox, which should be asked for by sending us the application form and questionnaire. Parties should consider that several actions should be made. To speed up the procedure the participant could best contact TSO Auction to assist with the registration.


How to change your contact data?

The participant should send a letter or the form published on our website with Rules and Regulations stating the change and send by an authorised representative.
