In connection with centralizing and harmonizing the rules for auction cross border capacity in North West Europe, we would like to pay your attention to the following:
TenneT has, together with the TSO's Elia, Eon.Netz en RWE Transportstrom, the intention of supplying the long term auctions in a harmonized way to the market. Therefore CASC-CWE had been established (in Luxembourg), who will auction the long term capacity according to harmonized rules.
Also on behalf of the TSO's Elia, Eon.Netz and RWE TransportNetz, we would like to alert you to the following:
1. Registration data
TSO Auction needs to supply CASC with a list containing data of persons who have the authority to take part in an auction. In order to provide CASC with this information we kindly request you to send back to information@tso-auction.org the filled in forms no later then October 21st (the forms are placed under 2. Training sessions Luxembourg). This way ensures that the most recent information is being supplied.
CASC will then send an email to the contact persons containing an user login id and password which provides access to the CASC-system.
2. Training sessions Luxembourg
Enclosed you will find the trainingprogramm (pdf-document). This training makes sure you are getting familiar with the CASC-system. You (and a collegue) can take part in one of the training sessions that will last half a day. In order to provide CASC with this information we kindly request you to send back to information@tso-auction.org the filled in forms no later then October 21st.

Two changes to TSO Auction website
The website of TSO-Auction under the domain name www.tso-auction.nl is currently linked to a web server located at IP address 193.173.210.134. On 16 April 2008 between 4.30 and 5.30 p.m., this IP address will be permanently relocated to 193.173.210.133. The second change concerns the domain names. The TSO-Auction is currently available under two domain names: www.tso-auction.org and www.tso-auction.nl. For technical reasons, www.tso-auction.nl can no longer be used as a domain name. All pages at www.tso-auction.nl will therefore be redirected to www.tso-auction.org. Any parameters at the end of the URL (for instance, ?exporttype=balansdelta) will be deleted when the user is redirected.
These changes will only affect automated tools and individual users connecting to IP address 193.173.210.134 or domain name www.tso-auction.nl.

Start implicit auction at the Dutch - Belgium border
The Dutch regulator has published the changed technical codes regarding the start and procedures of the market coupling. The market coupling will start at the 21st of November for the planning day of the 22nd of November. Biddings on the daily auctions performed by TSO Auction BV. for the Dutch - Belgium borders are from that moment onwards no longer possible. The cross border capacity will be allocated to the market in an implicit auction by the power exchange APX. Operational information and further explanation will be published on the TenneT Website from Tuesday 21st of November onwards.

Soon auction of extra capacity annual transmissions
The Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa) has decided to make changes to the auctioning of annual transmissions with effect from 1 January 2007.
Total capacity for annual transmissions will be increased from 900 to 1300 MW. This volume will be auctioned across two rounds in two equal parts.
The first part of the annual transmission capacity for 2007 will be auctioned on Thursday 28 September 2006. The second part will be auctioned on Tuesday 28 November 2006. Details of the transmission volumes in these auctions will be published on the TSO Auction website not later than on 8 September and 8 November 2006, respectively.
Total transmission capacity for monthly transmissions will be reduced again to at least 400 MW and at most 850 MW with effect from 1 January 2007.
10 april 2006: Hereby TSO Auction informs you about the auction date for the Monthly auction of the month May 2006. The 14th of April is a bank holiday and therefore the auction of the month May will be executed on the first next working day, the 18th of April.
3 April 2006: After the Auction office accommodated the market by publishing the historical day-ahead prices of February 2006. We discovered a failure in the data. We have corrected the data and republished the prices. We want to apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused.
